Along the National Hi-way (As of March 23 '10)

A morning errand was spiced up with a few shots of current structures jutting out of the use-to-be-flat hi-way side. It starts on the corner of Junction 1, around the Provincial Capitol.

P.C. Arcade
Junction 1, National Hi-way
Puerto Princesa City

Right beside is the Ardent Suites Bldg. (right side, front shot here)

The Junction 1 fruit stand area.

Farther down, right on the corners National Hi-way and Wescom Rd. are the sister buildings:

A & A Plaza Hotel

and ATC Plaza

Around the corner is a Mercury Drug branch and an interesting bookstore sandwiched between an Ukay joint, and snack bar.

The Mabel's Bookstore which has kids storybooks, workbooks, educational but fun toys and cutesy things for kiddos. Small but in a place where there aren't a lot of bookstore for kids, this can be a possible goldmine.

Last shot for the "right side" of the road (if heading outward the city's current downtown) is one of the newly opened Hotel Centro.

Going back into the downtown are these not-so-new buildings.

Karldale Square, in front of Cost Plus (almost near Junction 2, Adventist Hospital).

Near the Run-way is the San Juan Bldg., which has Shiela's Flower Shop, St. Ive's Baked goodies and Global Alliance office.

Until my next errand!!
