Aside from yoghurt, I would also like to explore the possibilities of using this to make daenjang. Here is where the search pages would start..
A blog about Korean food...mykoreandiet.com on making Daenjang paste the traditional way. I still have to read this thoroughly so I can have an idea about the making.
Lots of photos on bulk daenjang making here.
For further browsing still..

Update on the yogurt: (July 18, 2011)
Enjoying one of the homemade yoghurt!!
Success on the trial cups..using Birch Tree Full Cream Milk Powder and a local plain yoghurt from the store.
It looked fine but just a bit grainy and not that smooth as I used to make using fresh milk. But this will do for now. I am happy that I can at least make use of the yoghurt-maker after all these years in storage.
